Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition!

This little vegemite also wasn’t expecting to be given a referral to the obstetrics outpatients clinic this morning.

(If I was expecting it I at least would have covered that type of thing on my bloody expensive – and useless – private health care, under which I deliberately cut out services related to my current “condition” as a covered item because I’ll never need that!)

Unexpected does not necessarily mean unwelcome – just very, very unplanned!

Now excuse me while I go and stare, shocked look on my face, out the window for a good while longer.

we’re still at holy crap stage here, but thanks…. at 38 this was not quite the plan. We were just about to book a bloody European holiday, doh!

Did I read this correctly? OK, I just saw the tag at the end of the post. I wish I could reach you from here to give you a great big hug!! Such fabulous news. Congratulations!!! There are not enough exclamation points to convey how happy I am for you.

Jen, you read correctly. (I blame you actually – You told me you’d pray for me to give me a bit of a hand in the giving up smoking thing. This wasn’t quite the method I had in mind! In fact I had successfully managed to stop well before I worked this out. Good timing, I guess.) πŸ™‚

It just all fell into place, didn’t it? Stopped smoking.. took up knitting again… You are more than welcome to blame me. I’ve always thought you would make a wonderful mother.

WTF!!!!! Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!!!!!! I had to read this 3 times before it finally sunk in. Well, lots of window gazing I think. And here I was dropping by to ask if there was any admin jobs up for grabs in your office….slightly trivial now (but I still said it in just in case).

Sorry, all I can think of to say is Oh my god.

I am surprised, happy and shocked for you all at the same time. And, if I’m honest, a little envious too.

That’s been said a bit around these here parts too. I forget sometimes that the odd ‘real life’ people I know read here so Eve, this is still rather on the down low… Not aware of any admin type stuff around here but will keep an eye out. Cheers

      • eve Says:

Thanks for any help regarding admin work I really appreciate it.

As for keeping things on the down low, relax. I see none of ‘those people’ any more so you need not stress. I can relate to your anxiety and have had family call and question me for some remark or other on facebook/blog..pfffft. My blog was once my sanctuary. Now, for various reasons it has become soooooooo edited as to no longer be enjoyable….if you know what I mean.

        ANYWAY
I have purchased an apartment near Glebe so I would love for you to visit sometime and check it out! I have a pool (2 in fact!!) so you are more than welcome anytime to come by for a swim and some lunch…very civilised. I like the way you called me an odd real life person…I laughed.

        Please take care

Tell me about it. It won’t be long before the whole bloody local pub works this one out – one can only use excuses for having just a ginger ale for so long… Currently the story is that I am on a diet, and am looking forward to wearing a bikini next summer holidays. Ha – by then I could think of nothing less likely.

  8. Sashimi Says:

Congratulations!! Always gr8 to hear of a baby coming… (Did I just say that..being from the 2nd most populous nation in the world!)

  9. Little Miss Moi Says:
